    • In California all teaching, services and administrative credentials are issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC.) Although you may apply directly to the CTC for a California credential based on a teaching credential from another state, we recommend making an appointment with the Credentials Analyst at your local county office to assist you with the fingerprinting and paperwork. The requirements for a California Teaching Credential based on an out of state Teaching Credential may be found on the CTC website at: www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/out-of-state.html The CTC takes approximately 50 days to process an application. By meeting with a credentials analyst at your local county office of education you may be able to work before the CTC issues your document. To contact the Credentials Analyst at Placer County Office of Education please contact Suzi Kealey at 530-889-5993 or skealey@placercoe.k12.ca.us.
