Business Services provides business support services to Placer County School Districts and PCOE Departments based on sound business practices. We are committed to excellence through teamwork, leadership and communication.
Department Business Support Service staff provides payroll and accounts payable services as well as accounting, financial and budgetary assistance, including analysis and pro-forma calculations to all internal departments. In addition to providing fiscal services and assistance, we develop and monitor PCOE’s annual budget, and manage and coordinate the annual audit.
School District Business Support Service staff provides support, guidance and training to employees within the educational community. In addition to our State mandated services of school district budget review, fiscal oversight and pupil attendance accounting, we provide regionalized services such as payroll processing, vendor payments, retirement reporting, and other countywide financial support services.
